Fun at the Park

The kids were behaving horribly this morning. I mean, um, so hubs and I decided it might be fun to get the kids out of the house for a bit and take them to the local park this morning! We figured they could use some fresh air and LO would love to swing, play, run and use up some of her overabundance of excess energy. We pretty much stayed on the swings. Chase LOVED 'em!!!

And of course LO loved 'em, too!

We went on a walk around the path at the park (a path that loops around like 6 or 8 or 12,000 baseball fields, mind you). This is how the kids looked during the walk, although LO did get out and walk for a bit here and there. Chase was staying cool with his fan and refreshing juice. LO was, well, just being LO. I pulled the wagon up and over and through the hills, shade, sun, etc. while walking a pretty quick clip. Figure it was a version of some cardio for me for the day!

Believe it or not, we actually ran into some wild turkeys during our walk! There were four of them!

Secretly I was wishing LO was packing some heat like she did here at a restaurant yesterday after lunch. You know, just in case those wild turkeys tried to maul us... ;)
