Hello, August!

Welcome to August! Silly me, I've neglected my blog for the past few days! So sorry! It's been a busy and fun past week or two in our little world! Most recently, LO had her last day of gymnastics Tuesday morning. She's been going once a week for the past 2 months and has really liked it! I was happy to see her learning things like getting into line, taking turns, following instructions, etc. She had a great time! And I was so glad hubs and my mom came to her class on Tuesday so I'd have some help with Chase and could FINALLY take pics and video of her!

Here she is all decked out in her gymnastics leotard (glued to the TV watching Super Why!) while I was getting things ready to go.

Time for class to start! Of course she's checking to be sure mommy, daddy and Mona are watching her...

Her absolute FAVORITE thing to do at gymnastics: the trampoline!

I was SO proud of her for this move! She literally HATES being upside-down, so the fact that she did this was awesome!

Of course I had to get a little snap-shot of her brother being so handsome and happy while his sister was doing her thing.

She doesn't just run... she prances! ;)

Playin' around on the bar while Ms. Betty was working with another lil' gymnast.

Time for the vault! Go, girl!!!

((Please oh please tell me you noticed how my little girl tried to cut in line after her turn and was promptly told to go to the end of the line. Gotta give her points for trying, right? Well, unless you're the little girl she cut in front of...))

This was TOO FUNNY... After completing the vault, it was time to move on to something else. But NOOOOOOO! Little Miss LO had to pick up the hula hoops and put them away where they belong. While the rest of the class waited. Seriously.

At the end of class, the girls line up on the white line and Ms. Betty counts to 3 and the girls put their arms up in the air and say, "Ta da!" Of course it happened waaaaay too fast and I wasn't able to get a picture of it. Instead you see them all rushing off to get their popsicles. They get one after every class and I'm pretty sure it's the only reason LO kept going back! :)

And here she is with her greatest achievement: a popsicle!

Gymnastics was definitely fun and I truly think LO had a great time. I plan to let her take a dance class this fall or next summer just to let her try it out. I also want to let her try soccer and when she's old enough, softball, too. There's just no telling what she'll be into so we want to give her lots of options. :)

  1. I am getting a message that the video is private and we have to be friends for me to see it. We're friends, right? :)
