I'm a happily married mommy to a (usually) sweet 5-year-old girl, who we refer to as "little one" (or "LO" for short) and an amazing son, Chase, who was born Oct. 26, 2009 with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS). He had his Norwood surgery on November 2, 2009 at 7 days old, and his Bi-Directional Glenn surgery on March 3, 2010 at 4 1/2 months old. We see an answer to prayer in our lives every day when we watch our sweet baby boy! He is a little miracle and our Rock Star! God is so good!
While I am a full-time wife and mommy, I also work part-time for a leading computer/technology retail store, which I love. We are super excited to be building our dream house, so lots of this blog will be devoted to that during early 2012. I also spend a good bit of time discussing Congenital Heart Defects (CHDs) to raise awareness, as well as just the regular ol' antics of raising two kids. There will be lots of cooking, baking and recipe sharing here as well, as I love to spend time in the kitchen!
